What we monitor
- Structural deformation
- Settlement and displacement
- Vibration and dynamic effects
From on-site measurements to information for staff
Parameters and instrument selection depend on the structure, operating conditions, and existing systems.
On-site monitoring
We select measurement points and instruments for the changes being monitored.
Collection and transmission
We connect measurements to the shared system using the available communication and infrastructure.
Monitoring and events
We set up archives, change visualization, and alerts for responsible staff.
Purpose
The system continuously monitors load-bearing structures and foundations. Changes in settlement, tilt and deformation help reveal a deteriorating condition and send alerts to responsible staff.
Monitored parameters
- Tilt angle of structural elements
- Differential foundation settlement
- Deformation of the most heavily loaded structural elements
- Structural vibration frequencies and mode shapes
Monitored assets
- Load-bearing elements of tall and long-span buildings
- Foundation slabs, pile caps and supports
- Protective engineering structures
Possible system components
The following families and instruments are examples. The final selection is defined by the project.
Settlement sensorsHSSG Hydrostatic level sensorMeasures vertical displacement and structural settlement from changes in liquid levels in connected vessels. Suitable for foundations, hydraulic structures, and geotechnical monitoring.
AccelerometersAN-Q2M Triaxial accelerometerMeasures structural vibration acceleration along three axes. Used in building and structural monitoring, including stay-cable monitoring.
Settlement sensorsLNGG Displacement sensorMonitors movement along two or three coordinates. The measurement system includes a laser emitter, target, and electronic unit.
Strain gaugesRSS-R Rebar stress sensorMonitors strain in reinforced-concrete reinforcement. Incorporated into the rebar cage by welding or couplings.
Strain gaugesSVWG-12-EC Embedded vibrating-wire strain gaugeEmbedded vibrating-wire sensor for measuring concrete strain. Tracks strain changes and temperature at the installation point.
AccelerometersA1638-D01 Piezoelectric seismic sensorTriaxial seismic sensor for measuring vibration acceleration. Supplies digital data for analyzing the dynamic behavior of structures.Let’s discuss your task
