SVWG-12-EC Embedded vibrating-wire strain gauge
Embedded vibrating-wire sensor for measuring concrete strain. Tracks strain changes and temperature at the installation point.

Application and connection
An analog embedded strain gauge for monitoring reinforced-concrete stress and strain beneath building foundations, at pile heads, toes and shafts, and in underground structures.
Suspended in the reinforcement cage using tie wire before installation. For bored piles, sensors are fitted while the cage rests on assembly supports before lowering it into the borehole. Cables are routed to the surface in steel tubes to protect them during pile-head trimming.
